Fitness Gure to Join Burger Planet Health Campaign
(GARY, IN) Burger Planet has hired Jayne Petersen, Opal Whitcomb's personal trainer, to promote its new line of health food menu items.
In the past year Burger Planet has added several healty choices to its menu. They now offer a choice of fruit packets, gourmet salads and white chicken breast wraps. Petersen says the company's attention to promoting health is what made her want to sign on.
"Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices," Petersen said. "The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson."
Petersen will be featured jogging with Burger Planet mascot Corny the Clown in upcoming Burger Planet adverstisements. Burger Planet CEO James E. Mullenbach III says he is impressed with the way Petersen has helped so many women around the country lose weight.
"Jayne Petersen and Burger Planet share a commitment toward health," Mullenbach said. "The women Jayne Petersen have helped lose weight eat at Burger Planet. Burger Planet and Jayne Petersen are launching a comprehensive program to assist those women in healthy eating."
