Free Financial Education Available for Interested Citizens
(Logan, UT) The Cache Valley Area Investors Association is offereing a free financial advising class to anyone who is interested.
Preston Parker, president of the CVAIA, says their goal is to promote financial independence. He says financial independence not only has a lot to do with happiness, but it also opens up other job opportunities.
"We don't want anyone to go to work just because they need the money," Parker said. "We want them to go to work because they love what they do, financial independence makes this possible."
Parker says CVAIA accomplishes this by offering smart investment tips that allow people to live off of passive income rather than the income they earn from their jobs.
"We live in a consumer based economy instead of investment based," Parker said. "We help people recognize financial opportunities that are best for them."
There are currently 40 members in the CVAIA and they meet in the Cache Chamber of Commerce every Thursday at 7 p.m. For more information contact Preston Parker at four three five-seven five seven-four five six zero.

Capitalize a person's title in contact information.

Avoid the word "free"...put "at no cost" instead...and I wouldn't put this in the headline because it isn't the main focus. Remember, this is a cause-promotion Press Release. The word "citizens" doesn't make sense because anyone can attend regardless of national citizenship.

Your dateline needs to be corrected for AP Style.

"Offering" is spelled wrong.

Your quotes are good.
